Pirates no match for Big Reds depth

We made the trip to Riverview Tuesday to take on the Pirates. We won all events and came away with the 114-62 win. This moves us to 14-2 overall and 4-0 in Huron League. With a win next Tuesday against Grosse Ile, we have the chance to finish unbeaten in the Huron League for the 26th straight season. Coming off a great County Meet, we executed well in the pool and on the boards. Winners included: Medley Relay of Evelyn Gill, Kelsie Gillay, Sara Mitchell and Lila McKenna 200 Free: Mary Kate Wayne 200 IM: Evelyn Gill 50 Free: Kelsie Gillay Diving: Kaylin Brown 100 Fly: Gill 100 Free: Gillay 500 Free: Mckenna in a State Cut Time 200 Free Relay: Gill, Afton Presley, Tori Kimberly, and Avery Hovatter 100 Back: Presley 100 Breast: Mary Kate Wayne. Mary just barely missed breaking her own POOL RECORD. 400 Free Relay: Sara Mitchell, Lila McKenna, Kelsie Gillay and Mary Kate Wayne. Sky Gallenger finished 2nd in diving. Others swimming well for Milan included: Kenleigh Vandergrift Ashtyn Bergstrom Cristina Wilson Emma Brown Zoie Devine Ginny Heikka Delany Didyk Hazel Gibbs Peyton Bergstrom Tuesday, October 14th will serve as our last dual meet of the year, and our Senior Night. We will honor our 8 Senior girls just after diving in the middle of the meet. Thank you for your support of our Big Red ladies as they are looking to win Huron League Title number 26 on November 1st.
