Milan Girls Varsity Bowling falls to Airport, 21-9 SALINE, Mich. - The Milan High School Girls Varsity bowling team lost to the Airport Jets at Station 300 in Saline on Wednesday, December 17th. The Big Reds fought in the Baker set taking four of the available ten points in a close series putting them behind the Jets, 6-4. The Lady Big Reds tried to fly past the Jets in the first set of singles games however only Savannah Michalak and Maggie Smith were able to capture singles points along with a split effort between Brooke Hildebrandt and Teresa Tomaszewski. In the second set of singles Milan’s Ashley Reutter and Kenleigh Vandergrift were able to each take a point. Despite the team’s efforts, Airport pulled ahead to take the win 21-9. Next Up: Milan will head to Flat Rock Lanes to face SMCC on Tuesday, January 6th at 3:15pm.
