Girls Bowling falls to Flat Rock

Milan Girls Varsity Bowling loses to Flat Rock, 21-9 FLAT ROCK, Mich. - The Milan High School Girls Varsity bowling team lost their first league meet of the season, facing the Flat Rock Rams at Flat Rock Lanes on Tuesday, December 9th. The Big Reds fought in the Baker set taking six of the available ten points to lead, 6-4 after bowling 137 and 166. The Lady Big Reds tried to maintain their lead in the first set of singles games however only Brooke Hildebrandt and Maggie Smith were able to capture singles points. In the second set of singles Milan could not gain any ground and only Ashley Reutter was able to take a point. A notable high score came from Magge Smith in her first game with a 211. Next Up: Milan will head to Town N Country Lanes for the Huron Holiday Tournament on December 13th.
