Milan Girls Varsity Bowling wins over Jefferson Bears, 19-11 WYANDOTTE, Mich. - The Milan High School Girls Varsity bowling team captured their second league win of the season, facing the Jefferson Bears at Indian Lanes on Monday, December 8th. The Big Reds fought in the Baker set taking six of the available ten points to lead, 6-4 after bowling a 120 and 153. They began their run in the first set of singles games with each winning their game point and series points, to increase their lead 15-4. In the second set of singles Brooke Hildebrandt and Kenleigh Vandergrift won their points to push Milan’s score to 17-11. The team captured the two combined regular points due to having the higher ten game series to win the meet 19-11. Next Up: Milan will play Flat Rock at Flat Rock Lanes on December 9th at 3:15pm
